The Australian Community Climate and Earth-System Simulator
The CSIRO Atmosphere Biosphere Land Exchange (CABLE) model

The CSIRO Atmosphere Biosphere Land Exchange (CABLE) model is the land surface component of the ACCESS coupled model.

It can be used in both coupled and uncoupled environment. Here, you can access some documentation for CABLE, details of meetings regarding CABLE, as well as the registration form for those who would like to use the offline code.

Use of the offline code is free, subject to registration after reading and understanding a licence agreement. Registered users can then download the offline code (complete with test data and results), access a forum for discussion of various aspects of CABLE, and upload your code for improving CABLE in a later stage (along with proof of demonstrated superior performance). New improvements will then be tested in the coupled environment and may be incorporated in the next version of CABLE.
